What you need to know about receiving ONPATTRO® (patisiran)

Treatment every 3 weeks

Step 1: Once every 3 weeks you'll receive ONPATTRO as an intravenous (IV) infusion.

Step 2: At least 60 minutes before your infusion of ONPATTRO, a healthcare professional will give you a combination of medications commonly used to reduce the risk of infusion-related reactions.

  • The most common infusion-related reactions in the study were flushing of skin, back pain, nausea, stomach pain, difficulty breathing, and headache

Step 3: A healthcare professional will then administer ONPATTRO through an IV infusion, which takes about 80 minutes. After you've received your dose, you may be monitored in case you have any reactions to ONPATTRO.

  • You may be able to receive your treatment at home, but you'll need to consult with your doctor to find out if it's the right choice for you. Home infusions may not be covered by all insurance plans

Step 4: After your infusion, you should schedule your next infusion visit if you haven't already done so.
